A Denver police officer was 'seriously' injured after being run over by a fire truck during the championship parade for the Denver Nuggets.

The fire truck was carrying Nuggets stars Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray, as well as the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy.

Meanwhile, police in Denver are also investigating a double shooting in the downtown area that happened around the end of the Nuggets parade.
