Scotland's former first minister broke down in tears as she was the right person to lead Scotland through the pandemic.

The question came in a day of evidence given during the inquiry into UK's handling of COVID.

Ms Sturgeon admitted that a "large part of her" wished she wasn't leading the government at the time.

She also apologised for saying she would hand over all her WhatsApps despite knowing they'd already been destroyed.
