Cornwall: Stranded dolphin calf dies despite rescue efforts in St Ives

Crowds gathered on the seafront of St Ives as rescuers worked to save a young dolphin in the shallow water.

The animal was apparently stranded after the tide went out, and despite rescue efforts, later died.
