'Clearly a demand from the public' to debate assisted dying, says Labour

When Labour's Darren Jones is asked if there should be a vote on assisted dying, he answers saying there is "clearly a demand from the public" for a debate to take place.

He adds: "If the public want to have a debate on an issue like this, the House of Commons is there to serve the public.

"And so it should be debated."
