For 22 minutes, a man wielding a sword terrorised a street in Hainault, northeast London, attacking residents and police officers before being tasered and arrested.

Police were called after reports at around 7am that a 36-year-old man was wielding a sword and attacking members of the public.

The rampage left a 14-year-old boy dead, two other members of the public injured, and two police officers needing surgery in hospital.

Police are ruling out terrorism.
