Bears draft needs coming into the 2023 NFL Draft included OT, DT, EDGE, CB + more and Ryan Poles filled several of those needs this weekend. Darnell Wright was the Bears 1st round pick as Poles brought in the best right tackle in this year’s NFL Draft to protect Justin Fields. Chicago’s defensive line desperately needs help and Poles added Zacch Pickens and Gervon Dexter. Both DTs are high-upside players with elite athleticism that didn’t quite reach their potential in college. Bears head coach Matt Eberflus and his coaching staff will be tasked with helping them reach their potential. The Bears Day 3 draft picks were Roschon Johnson, Tyler Scott, Noah Sewell, Terell Smith, Travis Bell & Kendall Williamson.
