Charlotte, North Carolina officers shooting update: Law enforcement provided an update on the suspect that shot at law officers after they served a warrant.

The suspect was wanted for possessing a firearm. Police say he killed four officers on a U.S. Marshals Task Force and wounded four others.

Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Chief Johnny Jennings said, "today we lost some heroes who were out simply trying to keep our community safe."
