Israel-Hamas war latest: A top Hamas political official says they are willing to agree to a 5 year truce deal with Israel. This as Israel pushes further into Rafah and Gaza. Hamas saying it would lay down its weapons and convert into a political party if an independent Palestinian state is established along pre-1967 borders. This would include territories in the west bank. Meanwhile tensions continue to run high as the release of several hostages remain uncertain.
