Speaking to a crowd at the site of the collapse, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore declared Saturday that the Key Bridge "must" and "will" be rebuilt. A cargo ship slammed into the bridge in Baltimore on Tuesday morning, causing it to come crashing down into the river, and killing six construction workers. The largest crane on the eastern seaboard arrived early Friday at the site of the collapse and can move 1,000 tons. Another crane, capable of transporting 400 tons, is expected to arrive over the weekend.
