Alex Murdaugh’s attorneys have filed a petition for a new murder trial, alleging the court clerked tampered with jurors. His lawyers provided the update during a live press conference on Tuesday.

Murdaugh was sentenced to two life terms for killing his wife, Maggie Murdaugh, and his son, Paul Murdaugh, in June of 2021.
