The winner of the Nobel Prize in physics has been announced by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm.

On Monday, two scientists - Katalin Kariko and Drew Weissman - who worked on COVID-19 vaccines received an award for the Nobel Prize in medicine.
