A settlement has been approved in a wrongful death lawsuit after cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was fatally shot on the "Rust" movie set when a gun Alec Baldwin was holding fired on-set in October 2021.
The judge agreed to seal from public view the terms of a proposed settlement agreement in the case that benefits the son of slain cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, saying the right to privacy for Hutchins’ 10-year-old son overrides obligations for public disclosure.
