Labour's Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury has spoken to Sky News about the controversy over a letter written by Diane Abbott, who suggested that Jewish people and GRT people don't face racism.

Pat McFadden said: "I can't put myself in her mind, I can only express a view on what she wrote, which was wrong."

First though, Mr McFadden talked about the situation in Sudan and the UK citizens still left there.
